Missouri Course Access Programs (MOCAP)

Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP) was established in 2007 as the state’s online school. It was previously known as Missouri Virtual Instruction Program (MOVIP).

Senate Bill 603 was passed in 2018 establishing the Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program. This program provides access to online courses for all Missouri K-12 students who opt for flexible academic programming through online coursework.

Currently, MOCAP offers courses for Kindergarten through 12th grade. Students can take courses from any Internet-connected computer, available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. MOCAP's mission is to offer Missouri students equal access to a wide range of high-quality courses, and interactive online learning that is neither time nor place dependent.

Edgenuity (grades 6-12)

As a company of educators, Edgenuity believes that all learners can achieve their full potential and student success starts with the teacher.

All districts, schools, and students have unique needs that can’t be met with a one-size-fits-all solution, so Edgenuity has dedicated themselves to creating powerful, flexible products and solutions that give educators more ways to manage and customize their program while giving students personalized learning and engagement they need to succeed.

But it doesn’t end there; Edgenuity works side-by-side with LSR7 School District and R7 Online Academy every step of the way to ensure they have the support they need to achieve their goals.
