MOCAP’s mission is to offer Missouri students equal access to a wide range of high quality courses, flexibility in scheduling, and interactive online learning.
R-7 Elementary Online Academy is a state-approved Missouri Course Access and Virtual School Program (MOCAP). All Missouri public school students have access to our full-time online program through MOCAP. In order to participate, students must get enrollment approved by their resident school district. Students must be currently enrolled in a Missouri public school to switch to MOCAP.
Who can attend?
R7-Online Academy is an elementary program serving public school students in grades K–6 who reside in the state of Missouri.
What is the deadline to enroll as a MOCAP student in R7-Online Academy?
R7-Online Academy has no set deadline for enrollment during the school year. However, sending school districts may have specific enrollment deadlines for MOCAP. Interested families should contact their local school district.
Will families be able to switch mid-school year, if needed?
R7-Online Academy has a rolling enrollment policy. Whether a student can transfer into the R7EOA mid-school year is dependent on their local school district. R7EOA accepts transfers throughout the school year as long as the enrollment cap is not met.
Does the school provide technology and wi-fi?
Computers, equipment, or internet access is the responsibility of the parent/guardian of MOCAP students. R7-Online Academy does not provide technology or internet connectivity for MOCAP students. However, families may wish to contact their local school district to see what technology is offered for MOCAP students.

How is R7-Online Academy different from other online programs?
In R7 EOA Online Academy, students receive daily instruction from highly qualified teachers having extensive knowledge and experience with virtual instruction and curriculum development. R7EOA students have access to all of the instructional resources available to their in-person peers, however instruction is differentiated and tailored to meet the individual needs of each student. Our small class sizes afford personalized instruction and strong partnerships between school and home.
